Video: Peter Jackson Says Casting 'The Hobbit' Actors Is Not Easy

FINally some news about ANYTHING relating to The Hobbit. It's good that they're taking time to cast the right actors, but i just am anxious about who's going to be Bilbo already! It's funny that PJ mentioned that he wanted a certain look to the hobbits and therefore taking extra time to look for actors that will suit what he thinks will be right.
BTW, was there *any* news on Dec. 15th about the "big "announcement" of December... TORN didn't report anything, i don't think.

They've finished first screenplay, working on second one-- will be delivered...or has delivered on Xmas.

I"ve realized from this video that PJ's eyes are a nice green.... very very cool. :)

GO WATCH IT! You'll be so amazed!

This fanfilm is about the Dunadain featuring Arathorn and Gilraen and about their struggles with orc raids before and after Aragorn's birth till when Arathorn dies. This film was done so very well because all the fights, the orcs, the story is very much adhering to canon and had the convincing details that make you feel like you're watching an extension of PJ's LotR.
I have speedyhobbit besides me and we're having a very lovely hobbit moot! :D (We saw Avatar last night, hung out with her bf today amidst the snow in the Eastern Shire.)

Let the Hobbit come soon or more high quality fan films like these come more! Speedy hobbit and i were talking about a fanfilm about Frodo and his childhood till his parents drowning till his times in Buckland. Now how amazingly cool and awesome would THAT be???
I was thinking filming something from shirebound's Quarantine universe...I would be happy hobbit. :) ;)

I was here from that point on because of my WaroftheRing friends' persuasion. ethereal_hobbit & mochness were the reasons i was on in the first place. All i did was talk about hobbits in here and i'm glad and proud to say that this LJ will always be fro hobbits!

I saw it four times opening week. And it was a short week too-- came out on a Wednesday and it was snowy that day and i had to beg for a ride to the theater which was 30 minutes from campus. I then went to Middle-earth that winter break and saw it 6 more times in theaters...i was trying to help PJ in the box office--would be obsessed with helping RotK break the box office fro a while. ;)

Oh the memories....

and how much did the movies changed me, i cannot begin to say... :)
